On Friday 19th March we welcomed Jamie Peacock MBE, former Leeds Rhinos Rugby League player, and Bob Bowman and Gareth Cook from the Leeds Rhinos Foundation, into our school.

During their visit they joined a circle discussion group which consisted of pupils from Years 6 up to Year 11. The group took part in some Coaching style community builders, before discussions turned to well-being and the importance of looking after our mental and physical health.

Jamie gave our pupils some tips on how to look after their well-being, which included getting a good nights sleep, eating healthily, daily exercise and having a positive mindset. It was great for our pupils to speak with Jamie and hear advice from a well respected member of the community.

It was also a pleasure to welcome visitors from the Leeds Rhinos Foundation, who we regularly work with as part of the Leeds Learning Alliance.
