On Wednesday 15th September, Carr Manor Community School was part of a BBC Look North feature that focused on school anxiety and pupils’ worries about returning to the classroom.
The feature showed two of our Coaching groups during one of their three-times weekly check-ins. Our Coaching system is a fantastic way for pupils to talk about any concerns or worries they might be having with either their coach or the rest of the coaching group. Every pupil is part of a coaching group, so all pupils can enjoy their time at school knowing that they have a trusted member of staff to speak about any concerns with.
Three of our pupils spoke on BBC Look North about what Coaching means to them, and the importance of having this support network around them.
