On Friday 1st July we celebrated the successes of our pupils throughout the entire school, welcoming Parents/Carers and VIPs into school to support those nominated for awards. It was an emotional afternoon, with some wonderful citations from our teachers recognising the achievements of our pupils.
We have a variety of awards for individual subjects, work experience and character for learning, followed by the inaugural Tidswell Award for contributions to the community, the Akram Khammo award for overcoming adversity, and the Governors’ award. We also welcomed MP Fabian Hamilton into school to deliver a closing speech which was fantastic.
We are proud of our children for their work this year, and it is always a special afternoon to share with our guests.
