We are delighted to say that our Year 11 class of 2022 have attained the highest levels in our school’s history.

We are extremely proud of our Year 11 pupils and the results they have achieved this year. Watching the pupils opening their results knowing that the overwhelming majority of them have met their targets is a fantastic feeling.

73% of all entries were awarded at a pass (grade 4) or higher compared to 72% nationally. 26% of all grades were also awarded at the highest levels of grades 7-9 (the equivalent of A*/A) in line with the national figure of highest achieving pupils.

The pass rate for pupils in English was 72% and for mathematics 73% with 24% and 25% of the respective subjects graded at 7-9. Pupils have also done really well in Science with 61% of pupils gaining a double award pass and 23% awarded two grades at 7-9.

We have also seen record levels of pass rates in Spanish (86%), French (97%), Business (78%) and Computer Science (68%) with Geography (66%), History (72%) and Religious Studies (79%) continuing to be high performing subjects in Humanities.

Our pupils have worked extremely hard over what has been a challenging few years. Our pupils are leaving us with not only high levels of accreditation, but also with personal qualities that will help them put those qualifications to good use. This is down to our fantastic coaching system and relational approach within school, which allows pupils to develop their character for learning skills, ensuring they leave us as well-round individuals with resilience, determination and independence.
