Meet Your Coach Day & Year 9 Progress and Options Evening
Wednesday 1st March 2023 1.30-7.00pm
Dear families,
We are holding our combined Meet Your Coach evening and Year 9 progress evening on Wednesday 1st March. Your child’s Coach and subject teachers will be available to meet you in school from 1.30pm to 7.00pm.
We know teacher appointments have a tremendous impact on progress so please discuss with your child which subjects to prioritise for face-to-face meetings at this event.
As part of this event, you will be given an Options Booklet which explains the different qualifications available in Year 10. Your child’s Coach will discuss these with you during your meeting, and there will be additional opportunities at 2.00pm, 4.00pm and 6.00pm to watch a brief Options Presentation which will give you a greater insight into each course, and how to choose the most suitable ones.
On the reverse of this letter that your child receives, there is a list of the Year 9 teaching staff which can be used to record the times of meetings.
Please ask your child to arrange appointments with time in between to allow you to move between teachers. Please also leave enough time for a meeting with your child’s Coach.
