Pupils from Years 5 – 10 represented Carr Manor Community School at the Cultural Education Conference on Monday 4th December. The event was an opportunity for those who attended to hear from leading professionals in the field of education, arts, and cultural learning.
Our pupils delivered a workshop to arts organisations around the need for arts councils in order to facilitate arts provision across the region. The organisations were astounded by the number of arts provisions we have here at Carr Manor Community School, and many commented on how well our pupils spoke. We are very proud of the pupils for speaking with such confidence and maturity.
