We are fortunate to have a PTA that’s an integral part of the school community. Over the last few years we have raised thousands of pounds, which has been spent on equipment and resources to enhance our children’s educational experience and the school’s facilities.
However, our association is about much more than simply fundraising. The Carr Manor Community School PTA exists to provide closer links between home and school and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents/carers and friends together socially in support of the school, working towards a common goal. It’s fun too – just ask any of the committee members or volunteers!
All parents/carers and members of the school community are encouraged to get involved, even if you only have a small amount of time available. We welcome all contributions, from volunteering on an event day, to becoming fully involved with the PTA by attending meetings and planning and organising events. If you have any skills or links you think the PTA would benefit from, we would love to hear from you. As the school grows, the PTA also needs to continue to grow, and this wouldn’t be possible without the support of parents/carers like you.
We advertise our meetings and events on ClassDojo, in school newsletters, on the notice board at the front of the primary phase and now on this section of the website, so please keep checking these areas for updates.
