Inspection of Carr Manor Community School in 2025 by Ofsted

The school has been graded outstanding in all 5 categories of inspection. We were delighted that inspectors recognised the significant contribution our pupils make to the school’s success and progress commenting on their “remarkable conduct, respect and enthusiasm for learning”. They noted that the school’s pupils are “positive contributors to society” and that they “care about the world and feel empowered to change it for the better due to their experiences at the school”.
Inspectors spoke with children from all age ranges across our through-school; observed lessons, coaching, breaks and lunches and were highly impressed by what they experienced. We will be speaking with pupils in assemblies in the coming weeks to share with them this feedback and remain, as always, immensely proud of their efforts and attitudes.
The report also reflects the dedication and commitment of our staff team and governors. Commenting that “the schools personal development offer is excellent”, the inspection team recognised the strength of professionalism and passion that our staff share daily with the young people, and noted the highly positive impact of Coaching on our pupils.
It is a privilege for CMCS to be recognised as “a unique, exceptional school”, and we are proud that our inclusive, ambitious, collaborative approach to education has rightly been acknowledged as significantly successful. The support and contribution from our families, both throughout the inspection, but more important consistently as we work in partnership with our children was appreciated and recognised.
As the report highlights; “The staff, pupils and parents are proud to be part of the Carr Manor family”.
