School day timings
We want every child to enjoy and achieve during their time with us. That’s why we offer a personalised curriculum that caters to our pupils’ abilities and interests.
We are also proud to offer a variety of Flexible Learning clubs that can be accessed every day in the Secondary Phase, and twice weekly in the Primary Phase.
Attendance
All absences should be reported to us before 8:20am each day.
Should a pupil have 5 days (10 sessions) of absence within a term, or their attendance drops below 90%, they will be considered a ‘Persistent Absentee’ (PA) and the local authority will automatically be alerted. At this point, an Attendance Improvement Officer will be allocated to work with the pupil and family.
We do not allow pupils to leave the school site during the school day, and staff ensure that pupil movement between lessons happens quickly and effectively. We therefore have very few occasions of absence from lessons once a pupil is on site.
We are unable to authorise requests for holidays during term time unless under exceptional circumstances.
