We opened the Fairbank Farm in 2024, welcoming five Pygmy Goats into the Carr Manor Family.
Since then, the farm has become a special part of the Carr Manor grounds, now home to nine goats – all named by our pupils and House Council. Our pupils have opportunities to spend time with and interact with the goats, helping them to build confidence, responsibility and a connection with the world around them.

Supported by a team of volunteers, the goats are kept happy, well-fed and cared for in a clean, safe environment. Regular contact with nature can support pupils’ wellbeing, learning and personal development. Fairbank Farm offers a consistent and accessible way for pupils to experience these benefits throughout the school year.
