The wearing of school uniform ensures a community feel throughout school.

Purchasing uniform

School uniform and PE kit can be purchased throughout the year from main reception. Prices are included below of the items that are sold exclusively at Carr Manor Community School. All other items can be purchased at other retailers.

The items listed below are required unless stated otherwise.

School uniform

  • CMCS polo shirt in House colour (£10.50)
  • Grey CMCS jumper (£11) or grey CMCS cardigan (£12) for Reception – Year 4
  • Black CMCS sweatshirt (£12) or black CMCS cardigan (£12) for Years 5 & 6
  • Black trousers/dress/shorts/skirt or a dress in the relevant House colour (these can be worn all year round and are not restricted by seasons)
  • Plain black/white/grey socks
  • Supportive black shoes, appropriate for outdoor use
  • No jewellery, except for one plain stud in each ear

PE kit

  • Black CMCS t-shirt (£6.50)
  • Black shorts, leggings, or tracksuit bottoms
  • Trainers

Optional items (these can be purchased from CMCS if preferred at the price shown below)

  • Book bag (£7)
  • Shoe bag (£4.50)
  • Water bottle (£2.50)
  • Sun hat (£3.50)

  • White collared shirt
  • Black CMCS jumper or cardigan (£12)
  • Black CMCS blazer – this is optional (£30)
  • School tie in House colour (£4)
  • Black, appropriate-length skirt, with black tights.
  • Black trousers (no jeans, jeggings, leggings, trousers with studs or cargo trousers).
  • All black footwear (preferably shoes).
  • No facial piercings, earrings to be one pair of studs only. Necklaces are to be worn underneath the school uniform. 

PE kit
PE kit can be purchased throughout the school year from main reception or the PE office. Prices for individual items are shown on the order form you will receive. You can also buy additional PE kit items either from CMCS or other uniform retailers.

Tops:

  • Black CMCS short sleeve top (£8.50/£9)
  • Black CMCS jacket full/half zip – this is optional but is advised for the colder weather (£14)

Bottoms (These can be bought from CMCS or other sport retailers):

  • Black shorts – two different lengths (£7.50/£8)
  • Black skort (£11)
  • Black tracksuit bottoms (£13.50)
  • Black sports leggings (£10.50)

Footwear:

  • Trainers (with non-marking soles)
  • Football boots and black football socks (if possible for rugby and football)
  • 3G boots – these are optional for use on the astro turf
