18th June 2025
Dear families,
As we draw a close to another successful and enjoyable year, I am writing to you to share some of this final term’s highlights and achievements and to thank you for your ongoing support. We are extremely proud of all our pupils and the way in which they have continued to develop the characteristics that we value so highly in school.
Year 11 Prom – The class of 2025 attended their prom at Carr Manor on Thursday 19th June. We enjoyed celebrating alongside them on an evening which included pupil awards, an array of food and drink vendors, a special Prom edition of CarrManorTV, and of course a dancefloor. This is the second year that some of those finishing their time with us have been at Carr Manor since Reception.
Presentation Afternoon – We held our Presentation Afternoon on Friday 4th July, which celebrated pupils from Reception – Year 11 for a range of attributes, including character for learning, work experience, subject specific awards and their work in the community. We are proud of their achievements, and it was fantastic to celebrate with pupils and their families.
6+ Transition – Our Year 6 pupils have taken part in our 6+ transition programme since 24th June, where they have had the through-school advantage of a bespoke curriculum to ensure they are fully prepared for a strong start in Year 7. Pupils have enjoyed these additional, more specialised lessons in the Secondary Phase.
Progress Reports and Written Reports – Please find enclosed your child’s progress report for this half-term if they are in Years 8 – 11, or written report if they are in Years R – 6. Please contact your child’s coach if you have any queries regarding these reports.
Data Collection Forms – Thank you to all families who have returned the data collection forms that were provided at Meet Your Coach Day. If this is still to be returned, please either post this to our main reception or bring into main reception during summer or at the start of the new school year. Please ensure these are returned to us by Friday 5th September.
Change to First bus timings – Please note that from 1st September, the CM3 bus will now be arriving at each stop 2 minutes earlier. If your child catches this bus to school, please make sure they are aware of this timetable change.
