Attendance Officer
The 2gether Cluster are looking to appoint an Attendance Officer to work within a multi-agency team based at Catch working alongside cluster staff and other professionals. The 2gether cluster works with 10 primary and 2 through schools in Meanwood, Chapel Allerton, Chapeltown and Harehills providing support for pupils and their families. You will work collaboratively with the Cluster Leader and Cluster staff to improve attendance across the 15 cluster schools.
The overall purpose of Targeted Services is to improve outcomes for vulnerable young people at risk of becoming looked after, entering custody, not engaging in education, employment or training and those children and young people who are persistently absent from learning environments.
The post holder will deliver quality school attendance support for children, families and schools. The Attendance Officer will demonstrate a high level of skill in the engagement of families and pupils to improve and monitor attendance.
