17th July 2026
Dear families,
As we come to the end of another memorable year at Carr Manor Community School, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on some of the highlights from the final term and thank you for the continued support you provide to our school community.
Throughout the year, our pupils have continued to demonstrate the values that make Carr Manor such a special place. Whether through their learning, their relationships with others, or their contributions to the wider community, they have shown kindness, resilience, ambition and a commitment to making a positive difference. It has been a pleasure to see them grow and flourish.
On Thursday 18th June, we celebrated the Class of 2026 at their Year 11 Prom. We enjoyed celebrating alongside them on an evening which included pupil awards, an array of food and drink vendors, a special Prom edition of CarrManorTV, and of course a dancefloor. For some pupils, this marked the end of a journey that began with us in Reception, making the occasion particularly special for pupils, families and staff.
Our annual Presentation Afternoon took place on Friday 3rd July and provided an opportunity to celebrate the many ways in which our pupils contribute to school life. From Pre-School through to Year 11, pupils were recognised for their character for learning, work within the community and success across a range of subjects. It was wonderful to share these celebrations with pupils, families and friends of Carr Manor, and to recognise the many different strengths and talents that exist within our school community.
Our Year 6 pupils have taken part in our 6+ transition programme where they have had the through-school advantage of a bespoke curriculum to ensure they are fully prepared for a strong start in Year 7. Pupils have enjoyed these additional, more specialised lessons in the Secondary Phase.
Data Collection Forms – Thank you to all families who have returned their data collection forms following Meet Your Coach Day. If you have not yet returned your form, please either post it to the school or bring it to Main Reception during the summer or at the start of the new academic year. We would be grateful if all forms could be returned by Friday 4th September to help us ensure our records remain accurate and up to date.
