Dear Parent/Carer,

We are holding our Year 8 Parent/Carer Evening on Wednesday 30th April 2025. Your child’s subject teachers will be available to meet you in school from 3.30pm to 7.00pm.

We know teacher appointments have a tremendous impact on progress so please discuss with your child which subjects to prioritise for face-to-face meetings at this event.

On the back of this letter there is a list of the Year 8 teaching staff which can be used to record the times of meetings.  Please ask your child to arrange appointments with sufficient time in between to allow you to move from teacher to teacher. Teachers will do their best to stick to this schedule, however, please be prepared to be flexible with timings.

As part of this event, there will be opportunities to attend a talk on the Year 9 curriculum. These will take place at 4pm, 5pm and 6pm in the Theatre and will give you and your child greater insight into the academic year ahead.
